Wednesday's Trip from San Francisco to Seattle (22nd)

Our day began with a nice surprise, my dad stopped by to say hello! An old native of San Fran himself, it was great that we could share a few moments in this great town together (even if it was oh so brief).


We stayed in the cutest motel with a courtyard. Our room even had a kitchen! If anyone is going to San Francisco and looking for a great place to stay, definitely look into the Marina Motel!


My dad recommended that we go to Golden Gate Park before we headed out of San Francisco that day.


We got to see the outside of the Japanese Tea Garden, but unfortunately, it wasn't going to open until later in the morning. Dad said it's beautiful so hopefully we'll get to see it on our next venture to San Fran.

We stopped in Portland for a quick visit and dinner. We saw some great street performers as we were entering and exiting the city...


...and took a few shots of the downtown before heading on our way.


After a long day and a plethora of driving, we crashed in The Hill House Bed and Breakfast in Seattle. It would have been a great place to stay had our window not been located on the street side where loud buses and cars were traveling by all night long. Jenn slept much more soundly than I did, so it was a good thing she was on driving duty the next day!
