Saturday's Trip to Los Angeles (18th)

I began the day by touching the Pacific Ocean, my first trip to this side of the country!! It felt great. My toes were very happy. And of course, Lindsey had to capture the moment with her camera!


Oceanside, just north of San Diego.


We left San Diego pretty early and after a quick breakfast decided we really needed to take a nap on the beach. Just a note, Laguna Beach makes for a great napping place. We didn't take a picture, but we threw down our blanket right at the edge of this cliff in the shade. Aaahhhhh.

As Lindsey was maneuvering through the crazy L.A. traffic (and drivers), I had trouble getting a good shot of L.A. This was the best I could do.


We may not have chosen the most Hollywood of evenings, but Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince at the Chinese Theater in Hollywood was such fun. The theater was beautiful and the movie was super entertaining as was the company.
